Can you guess what it is?
A friend once said to me that I should rather take a microscope with me instead of my camera. since I like taking close-ups so much. Since that’s really all I will tell you in regards to the above photo, which I would like you to try and figure out what it depicts (maybe it is too easy?), I will list a few quotes by famous photographers.
“All photographs are memento mori. To take a photograph is to participate in another person’s (or thing’s) mortality, vulnerability, mutability. Precisely by slicing out this moment and freezing it, all photographs testify to time’s relentless melt.” ~ Susan Sontag, American writer and filmmaker, professor, literary icon, and political activist
“The Earth is Art, The Photographer is only a Witness.” ~ Yann Arthus-Bertrand (Earth from Above, Home), French photographer, journalist, reporter and environmentalist
